Most: Merril

Least: Anders

I hated them both. Merril was stupid and wouldn't listen, and got bit in the ass in the end.

And technically, she's Welsh, not Irish.

Most: Many of the companion quests were good, the game kept me playing till the end, the story was alright.

Least: A general sense of "....And??" creeping up throughout the game. It came close to what it wanted to do, but never did it with a sense of satisfaction.

Most: Merrill, Varric, Avaline and the Arishok.

Least: Lack of overarching plot thread.

Merril is Welsh, yes, but the other Dalish are Irish.

Least: Being restricted to having very specific characters REQUIRED to do certain things (Tank, heal, etc.)

Made worse by the fact that some of them bugger off due to story choices. That sucked.
