honestly while this guy tries to dress it up nicely he really is homophobic. It is interesting to note that he simply chooses not to entertain romances (not having played DA2 I dont know how in your face they are, but seriously. There is only one thing in all his threads that I could possibly agree with. The fact that most of the relationship options are bi. It was posted somewhere that knowing they are bi is more metagame knowledge but it is still there. Extra Credits did a good article on sexuality in games and one of their points was that there should be strong characters regardless of gender or sexuality, but that simply making the option of being romanced by any character is a little weak unless it is their character.
It would be nice to see in games characters who regardless of the PC, are themselves, if they are gay they are always gay, if they are straight they always are. If they are bi pan or anything else then make that part of their character and not just simply a metagame peice of knowledge. Im not saying have a huge banner over their heads but it just be a natural part of who they are. Same goes for trans characters.
