Ever notice how you join some super, secret, awesome club in all their games? In KotOR it's the Jedi, in Mass Effect the Spectres, and in Dragon Age it's the Grey Wardens.

But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I was just pointing out other similarities in Biowares games.

And I'm sure something similar might happen in DA2

I'd rather a voiced character than a voiceless character. They feel more like a character in the story. And it's BioWare we're talking about, even their blank slates have more personality than every generic protagonist in gaming these days.

Maybe having a protagonist that actually exists will motivate me to actually care about what is happening. I've had Dragon Age:Origins for I have no clue how long and i can't bring myself to play for more than maybe 30 minutes because there's really just no reason to care at all.

I just heard Lady Hawke's voice on a youtube video, and I have to say that I quite like it. I already liked Nicholas Boulton's voice for male Hawke, so that's great all 'round.

So long as I like the voice, I have no problem with a voiced protagonist.
