Alright. I finally hooked myself up to XBL, after playing DA:O for about 15 hours so far.

I decided to buy the DLC with the little XBL points I had. I bought the Gray Wardens Tower, and was about to buy Shale when I realized that I had the code for him on the thingy that came with the game (the one that also has the code for the armor)

To my dismay, I realized to Shale (the Golem guy) is added onto the main quest. The part of the Dwarven city stuff. The part that I had JUST finished!

My question is, how do I get Shale?

How about the other DLC? How do I get to the Wardens place, and how can I find that Dragon Armor from the code?

Shale says thank to everyone who posts. And breaks the face of those who don't

all I have to say is: shale is a woman. I didn't know you had to get her in the orazamar part though thanks for the warning, now I must create another character before I buy her DLC

Er, you don't find Shale in the Deep Roads or anything, he's another quest that you automatically get when adding the DLC, he's in a small town south of Orzammar.

Warden's Tower you get by talking to a guy in your party-camp, and the armor you get to buy from that nice dwarven merchant and his amiable but retarded adopted son.

The only reason i am posting is so i can keep my face.

I never bought the DLC, or the game for that matter

Thanks. The description on the Marketplace sounded like that is where you found her.

You start Shale's questline in a small campsite west across the lake from the mage tower.

You start the Warden's Keep DLC from a guy in your campsite with a big exclamation mark above his head.

As memory serves, if you haven't inputted the code for Dragon Armor before you start a game you can't get the chest, but the head, gloves and boots you buy from the dwarven merchant at your campsite.

You don't get Shale from Orzammar, there's a place completely dedicated for getting Shale. Shale does have background in Deep Roads after you've gotten him, yes, but it's not in Orzammar so it doesn't matter even if you've done it already.

And to the poster above (Renamedsin), you might want to remove your spoiler, since there's a whole side quest to discovering Shales past.

Her voice actor is female. Her conversations with Leliana strongly imply femininity.

Her gender is pretty obvious.

Go to sutcher's pass, should be glowing gold, get the Golem control rod from the merchant. Proceed to honnleath. Enjoy the side quests there and the main quest of getting the "FEMALE" Golem.
The part of Orzammar you are thinking of is the Cadash thaig it is a quest given by Shale

Maybe you don't pair her up with Leliana as you play? Maybe you want to guess? I was pretty sure, from the few first conversations I had with her, but the thought of a lightly homosexual golem made me giggle a little on the inside. Still boring to make even the small spoilers. I think.
