No this isn't a thread about some nerdy convention

No I need help is being posted in this thread. Ok so I'm finally release into the wilderness for my first time with three party members. Now before I used to be able to use my free running buttons to move and my party members would follow. Or when we spotted enemies we would all attack.

It doesn't happen anymore. Thing that shits me the most is the fact that I have to select all my characters and use my mouse to move >=(

A)Can someone please tell me how to get it back to how it used to be?
B)Do you like Sasquatch?

Now for A) Have you tried the options? Cause i goote think its somewhere in there.

Not sure what platform you're playing on, but on the PC there is a small icon bellow the four character portraits that lets you toggle between "Follow" and "Hold position". It sounds like you've got it stuck in "Hold" which means your party members won't move an inch.

You must've hit H on accident. That is the toggle button between Follow and Hold Position party modes. You can tell which mode it's on by looking at the little icon on the right side just below the party member portraits. A palm for Hold Position and a running dude for Follow.

Also, if your party isn't doing anything in battle without direct input from you, you should probably adjust their tactics. Tactics are basically just AI rules to handle the mundane microing of the team (like casting heal on low health party members, using potions, turning on auras/modes, etc).

Also make sure you have your tactics set up correct, it may have been switched off, or may have been turned from an aggressive mode to a passive one. Have a look in the tactics menu and have a look.

Ahh there we go. Cheers Yeah I had it in hold. I thought that button told them to hold every time you pressed it. Like a hold fire command type thing, or a stop button if your were about to do a command.

It's a toggle, not a command. Best to use it when trying to unleash AoE attacks on the room full of enemies without having your fighters/rogues run in and get burned to a crisp. As soon as the fireworks die down, just toggle it off while yelling "Let loose the dogs of war!"...

This is outrageous! I demand a Dragon Age themed party!

We can drink fruit punch and call it darkspawn blood. If anyone has any kind of allergy to it, then I guess they're not surviving the joining. Survival of the fittest, I say!
