If you managed to get the dog as your companion in the game, what did you name it?

I'll be honest, I thought it was pretty funny at the time, but I called my dog...

Hitler.

It got a little weird though after seeing dialogue like 'Pet Hitler on the head' or 'Hitler relieves himself conspicuously on the floor'.

Dantae. A fantasy-twist on the name "Dante". (The name of my real dog if you are wondering)

Sunny, because a viscious War Dog sounds like it would be a happy-go-lucky animal filled with joy and not a violent ravinous killer beast... oh wait.

I named him Duncan, after my poor dead mentor.
But he died after you named your dog... right?
nope, he died right before you get your dog. you get your dog on the road after you wake up from the defeat/death of Duncan and leave Flemeth's Hut

Fluffy. Sure, he didn't have three heads, but he could take on that overgrown pacifist cerberus on any day.

In fact, it was Fluffy who
delivered the killing strike against the archdemon, prompting the final cutscene

Fluffy roxorred and hard.

In addition, I've had a thing for harmless and unassuming names (and names to run way from [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ships_%28The_Culture%29]) ever since I read my first book of The Culture series.

Gunboat Diplomacy, Just Testing, Screw Loose, Shoot Them Later and So Much For Subtlety...
Very Little Gravitas Indeed :)

As Amnestic said, I'm surprised that you guys all missed the one that was around for quite a while.

That being said, I never answered in there, but I'm going to name it what I named my dog in Fable II, and that was Geoffrey Jenkins V.

Or perhaps I'll just go with LOLFAGGOTDOG, because I assume it'll be a burdensome creature (yes, before it meant "gay" and after it meant "bundle of sticks", "******" meant "burden". I hope you've learnt something today).
