*contains spoilers*
my only heavy grip about dragon age 2 was the amount of recycled copy pasta areas.
if you do all the quests in the game you will enter the exact same place at least 10 times , every warehouse is the same one , every mansion is the same one even the brothel is the same mansion ...
there was so little to enjoy about the quests that the repetitive environments just ruin ...
but i liked the game , faster paced , looks beautiful and story is Ace in my opinion its a personal story about the champion told through another, its simple as that.
the final act although made me pissed and on edge.
i went though the game with a sense of justice and a snarky sarcastic player , i helped mages who deserved it , killed the Templar's that deserved it and overall did what i thought was right in my eyes , this usually ends up with me befriending every one in the game and being sorta lawful neutral with hits of chaotic and good.
but then the end came in act 3 where i was stripped of all choice and given one of 2 choices:
be a dick and join the mages and kill innocent Templar's who are doing their duty or be an even bigger dick and join the Templar's and just straight out kill every one i see...
and in the end both leaders go crazy ... and i get blamed for it .
what my actual choice would be is to become viscount during act 3 by gaining the approval of all the nobility and then bringing order by giving mages more rights and freedoms while keeping a close eye on them with the Templar's and work on a way to equality somehow.
and of curse Anders ... i hate what they did to Anders, he was such a happy guy with a great sense of humor .. now hes a renegade psycho with depression...
and i still cant really choose what i side with .. him doing the whole terrorist act for freedom as necessary evil or just cause its evil ...
mind you if you spare his life and choose Templar's side he will confront you like a total jackass and throw all the friendship and loyalty in your face, i repaid him with a knife in the face.
