Dragon games?

Does anyone know a game where you play as a dragon, not including spyro (as awesome as it was )? You'd think there'd be a few but thats the only one i can think of :/

There is one that you can find on Steam right now that I will warn you ahead of time to avoid. Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Chronicles, it is a very hard game. The ending is horrible. I don't ask for a happy ending, but I do ask for an ending that amounts to me working for the bad guy the entire time.


But as for GOOD dragon game? All I can really say is good luck, there was one on the playstation 2 that I can't remember but dragon games are few and far between.

Your right, that's weird. Dragon's are one of the most cliche video game bad guys, but you'd think you'd see that trope inverted more often. after a little research the only thing I could find was a game I've never heard of from 2004 called "I of the Dragon"

I totally wish there were more games where you played as a dragon.
I remember having a game where you rode a dragon most of the time (I think it was a ps2 game but the name escapes me), but not any where you play as them. Except Spyro.

In Drakengard, Panzer Dragoon and Lair you play as a guy RIDING a Dragon.

Drakefire Chasm. There's a roguelike for everything. Also Choice of Dragon if you consider that a game.

I've once played an old PS2 game called 'Dragon Rage' (or something along those lines) where you play as a Dragon trying to liberate his kind from Orcs.

That was also terrible. I can't remember what it was called, but it was terrible.

There was the reign of fire game, apparantly that was pretty fun when you got to play as a dragon, but the other sections were meh-terrible, and they make up most of the game. Note I have never played this game, but I've seen a lot of reviews.

So...you're pretty much stuck with playing the original spyro trilogy for now.

I would suggest checking out Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, you being a dragon is kind of a spoiler but you do get to be one and it's pretty awesome, plus the world has somuch charm and good design in it.
No it's not a perfect game and I'm not sure why they still keep it up at $40, but this is an action RPG well worth a look at, though you might want to find it on ebay or somewhere similar.

You could always try Hoard, you play as a dragon wrecking villages and gathering gold like a dragon should. I'm not certain but there might be a demo on steam, so you can try before you buy.
