The pawns' constant chatter is much easier for me to handle with Dark Arisen's Japanese voice option. Plus the acting actually sounds better too. Only thing I like about English voices is the Dragon's voice.

The rest of Zhukov's complaints are...fairly understandable. And by fairly, I mean very.

EDIT:
I totally forgot about having to switch your skills out with some person. Would be nice if I just learned skills with them, then set the skills as I wished out in the field, but I guess it's supposed to be one of those 'look before you leap' kind of things where you kit yourself out with skills based on where you're going.

I also would have liked to see the Arisen have their own bestiary on the status screen, so in case you forgot what an enemy's weakness was, you could look it up.

Too many people here took the OP's statements & pretended they were other completely different statements. This is one of my favorite games ever & I actually think everything the OP mentioned is one of the biggest problems except the inventory system. He could be right about that but I haven't played the other games he was talking about so I don't know.

I do get really sick of fighting the same goblins, bandits, harpies, & wolves in the same places over & over & I really really hate hearing my pawns say "Do we have the means to shoot it down. It's alighted on the tower. How do we defeat such a foe. Do we have the means to shoot it down. Do we have the means to shoot it down." while one of 'em is holding a bow. The lack of question marks is intentional because they say questions with the tone of statements. I especially hate that castle walls line that was mentioned earlier.

I also hate hearing pawns who've never been to Cassardis reminisce about Cassardis & hearing pawns act like they're seeing a place for the first time even though they'll later tell me about their journey with my previous arisen & claim they'll never forget it. I even heard a pawn say the brine have prowled the shoreline for generations even though everyone else says they only showed up recently. I've also heard the pawns talk a lot about rumors of a knight's champion but the rumors can't possibly exist because the pawns are the only ones talking about it.

They tell me what a port crystal is 3 times in rapid succession right after I use it & they tell me I can get my hair cut at a salon in which I got my hair cut 1/4 second ago. They look at Gran Soren & wonder what it is after I've spent hours there. Immediately after I hire a pawn at the pawn guild the same pawn will tell me I can hire a pawn at the pawn guild. They tell me goblins are weak, even in numbers & then they say goblins are dangerous in groups right after I OHKO every goblin.

In summation: "Bones! Walking bones! A skeleton sorceror! Bones! Walking Bones!"
