Defeating a dragon in single combat is said to be among the greatest feats of mythical heroes. However, befriending a dragon to learn ancient mysteries would have its own rewards. Which would you do?

Are we talking dragons that can shape-shift? Cause I could totally go for "befriending" a dragon. But only if they were shape-changed into human form - I'm not particularly attracted to scales.masonfr8kr said:

Steal a dragon egg, raise it as your own, then when it's old enough, ride it into battle against all the other dragons in glorious dragon on dragon combat.
Befriend. Centuries of arcane knowledge on any conceivable topic and the ability to almost single-handedly change local or even kingdom politics? Yes please!

If it's covered in pointy bits, you're boned. Fang Dragons aren't the best fliers and they don't have a breath weapon, but they make up for it with a stupidly long tail with god damn scythes attached. And they're definitely in the "kill mortals that aren't working for me" category.CM156 said:
