If Sega made a 2nd Dreamcast would it only last 1 year like the original Dreamcast before making bizare noised and faults :D

Oh and having 0 copyright protection ;)
mine still works....
wow really?

Outta the 16 people on the same course as me at university (all from different parts of the country) only 2 people could say that after all that time (works = loads fine without having to repair it at all btw, and makes no wierd noises when discs load etc)

I seriously doubt it could compete with three well established next-gen consoles. Sega could do a hand-held though. Maybe then they would go back to making sonic games that dont suck.
Or could perhaps making an original game thats not based on a mediocre Genesis platformer (yes, I don't like the old sonic games, how could you tell?).
I liked the 2D sonic games. However, Releasing their own system would require them to make more original games and Valkyria Chronicals will only get you so far.

Actually, the DC made those noises when it loaded normally.

I'm also very proud to say my DC still works perfectly, just like my Saturn. My Genesis only stopped working because it was stepped on, and my Game Gear's headphone-less sound doesn't work from it being dropped too many times when I was a kid. However, my new Genesis works perfectly, and my Game Gear still works perfectly despite the sound (and even that's fixed by plugging headphones in).

Considering that Sega was sold out to Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft?

To put it as Yahtzee says:

In short: No

In long:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
