Dreamworks has done it again, this film looks awesome. Kind of like a festive animated Avengers. I hope it's really good, unlike the Avengers...

Anyway, thought? The Easter Bunny looks cool.

For a minute there I thought this was related to that animated owl movie (Legends of the Guardian). Also what? No Cupid? But yet again kid don't exactly need to fall in love for their age unlike teen or adults.
I do got to admit that it is presented well. While I know it isn't suppose to be an Avengers copycat but it doesn't help the fact that for a minutethere that nightmare villain sounded like Loki.

Atleast it's not Shrek or some other snarky, pop-culture referencing celebrity filled bullcrap. That's already one point in it's favor.

We'll see.

This trailer is lacking in Jack Frost

His face reminds me of a certain actor... but I can't put my figure on exactly who he looks like.

He reminds me of Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), this automatically makes me want to kick him in the nuts.

OT: Yeah this doesn't look too bad actually. :3

The Russian Santa is badass. Also did you notice his tattoos? They made me laugh. I can already tell that I am going to like the Easter Bunny(That voice man).

I really want to see this now.

A badass looking Easter Bunny with an Australian accent? Santa as a big tattooed Russian bloke?

...

Yeah, I'll take it.

It's funny that this popped up because just today I got the urge to listen to The Prince of Egypt's soundtrack and it reminded me that Dreamworks can and has produced a few genuinely mature "Disney-level" animated films besides the snarky cartoons they usually make.

IE: AFRO CIRCUS AFRO CIRCUS *shudder*

Also I agree with the previous statements that Russian Santa is awesome.

Oh my, oh my, oh my! This looks like SO much fun. I will definetely want to see this as soon as I possibly can.

I mean...COME ON it's taking well-to-do, never really thought of as warriors, mythical creatures/people and turning them into badass mo-fos in a modern day setting with a magical twist.

And the villian (or at least what I THINK was the villian) looked very interesting and I'm really hoping that they do something intriguing with the character instead of just "He is bad guy, go do bad guy things."

Looks pretty damn cool. Although the fact that santa kinda reminds me of nikolai from nazi zombies is...wierd.

That, and come on. Halloween being the bad guy? Hey, it's damn well obvious the bad guy is whoever runs halloween. Aside from a missed opportunity to piss off disney with as close as they can get to jack skellington without a decent lawsuit, it's a little predictable, don't you think?

its interesting...people arn't quite as hyped over Brave as other PIXAR works...and it seems that the difference in quality between Dreakworks and PIXAR isn't as obvious....very interesting

He reminds me of Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy).

Yeah this movie looks awesome. When Jude Law started talking I swooned.

Well damn. You took my post. Personally, I love the idea of 'Comrade Claus' and Hugh Jackman Easter Bunny.

So, my interest is definitely piqued.

You know, now that you've mentioned The Prince of Egypt, I'm usually getting the feeling that Rise of the Guardians is going to be one of the only Dreamworks Animation films (the other being Kung Fu Panda 2) that would remind me of The Prince of Egypt. I mean think about it, songs from The Prince of Egypt would be linked closely to this film. For Example: Deliver Us, All I Ever Wanted, Through Heaven's Eyes, Playing With The Big Boys, The Plagues, and When You Believe. I suddenly also have the feeling that Jack Frost would remind me of Moses and Pitch would remind me of Rameses. If they did it before with Kung Fu Panda 2 with Po and Lord Shen, then this concept would occur again in this movie. I'm not saying they're alike but would have some similarities. But I guess the only way to find out is that we have to wait till November 21st to see if this prediction I made is accurate about the similarities.
