Greetings Escapists! It is I once more with another relatively pointless thread about your current activities but I thought this time I'd ask more than one question and make it a touch more complex! I also felt that we could do with a relatively pointless thread about random discussion because I haven't seen one for a while.

Without further ado here are the questions and my own answers

Q) So, what are my fellows drinking as I speak? Is it good? How does it taste?

A) Riggwelter from the Black Sheep Brewery, it's a fine dark ale with a rather rich wheaty taste. It's simple and potent at 5.7% and quite delicious indeed!

Q) Listening to music? What are you listening to peoples? Is it a prefered genre and what are your reasons for listening to it?

I'm listening to it because I felt like a bit of classic rock and metal and this happened to come on, it's a rather poignant reminder of my current position in life at present however!

(since the time of posting I have moved on to Black Sabbath)

Q) What is your current activity, or more directly what the heck are you up to?

A) Listening to all my music on shuffle, it's mostly metal and rock with a bit of folk and electronic genres in between to spice things up. Otherwise having a few casual drinks and chatting on Steam and Skype. May watch Skyfall later as my rather just purchased the boxset of Daniel Craigs bond films.

Drink: Powerade. Fruit punch flavor, to be more specific. It's 11:30AM, what do you expect me to be drinking at this time?
Music: Not music. Listening to the Blue Jays game on the internet radio. Yay for spring training!
Activity: About to write up my Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball review. It was kinda fun.

Q1. I'm currently drinking a glass of orange juice. It's about 3 in the afternoon and I have a cold, so yeah orange juice.

Q2. I'm listening to an album that was quite recently released by Steven Wilson and a few other high profile musicians and producers.

Steven Wilson is definitely a favourite producer and musician of mine. In my opinion he's created and worked on a lot of the best prog rock/metal in the past few decades.

Q3. I'm killing time before work by browsing the Escapist. Because apparently I have nothing better to do.

Question 1) Some Lime-ade Hawaiian Punch. It's pretty good. Rather sweet, with a bit too much citric acid though. Kinda tastes like candy.

Question 2)


But fucking Pandora likes to be a pain in the ass and cut out halfway through the song if I recently had it paused for more than a few minutes, which I did while I was playing Persona 4.

Question 3) Taking a break from grinding out a few levels before fighting a boss in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. Tried fighting the boss already, but my damage output wasn't good enough and I ran out of SP :/ That's what I get for fighting a boss ~5 levels too soon...

Drinking Gatorade G2 at the moment, and jamming to Solar Fields(The composer for Mirror's Edge). His album titled "Movements" is really good. Like, seriously eargasmic. If you like ambient electronica or good videogame soundtracks, look that guy up.

As for my activity, I'm currently working on some 3D model hackjob that is the basic plan for what I want my new truck to look like after I'm done customizing it. It's an unusual piece to say the least.

Your 11:30Am is evidently my 6:30PM. So while you;re on breakfast I'm clear for drinking time!

I am yet to play such a thing but my last review attempted as AC3 as a semi-retrospective and all I can say is blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh. That;s literally my entire view of AC3, play 2 instead. I don't care if you already did, do it again, it's better in every single way.

Activity: Just pounded a load of B&J Cookie Dough and about to read Guardians of the Galaxy #0.1 by Brian Michael Bendis.

Drink: Coffee (it's still relatively early in Australia). It was nice, but it has gone a little cold. Not so good anymore.

Music: Iuvenes (pretty much early Bathory worship). I'm listening to their Sons of Mayhem demo. I'm sure no one cares, but if you find enjoyment in any of Bathory's first four albums, I'd recommend them.

Activity: I'm starting to get into the Youtube scene by writing my very first review. It'll be for the Anime Fooly Cooly. I have a good chunck of the written part finished. Then I'll work on the voice recordings for the script, put the video together, and upload it.

Then I hope for the best.
