Drinking Games of Video Games?

Mario Kart DUI:

Play literally any Mario Kart game.
You have to finish your drink before finishing that race but you can only drink when you're not moving in the game.

It's interesting to see the different strategies. Some people will nurse and make constant progress or I'll chug at the very start then blaze through the rest...while hitting everything.

Skyrim - Take a shot every time a guard takes an arrow to the knee.

It's funny, I've played a decent amount of Skyrim, dozens of hours at least, probably over a hundred, and I only ever heard that line about four times.

I wouldn't even remember it if the least interesting people on Earth hadn't set about repeating it ad nauseam in lieu of humour for a few months back there.

It was only really a thing when Skyrim first came out. The guards had (have) dozens of dialogue options, but a bug of some kind in the dialogue script made them pick that particular line far more than they came out with any of the other ones. A similar bug in New Vegas meant that, for a short time after it's release, the radio stations played 'Big Iron' far more than random chance should have allowed for, sometimes even playing the song twice back-to-back. Both issues were, of course, fixed in later patches but not before the Internet had turned it into a 'thing'.

Though that would probably induce the same level of alcohol poisoning as the Dark Souls drinking game.

I like this one. Makes the drinking a mechanic, rather than just a 'drink every time x happens' affair.

I thought the point was to get you drunk?

Get a new player, and have them play Dark Souls. Both of you take a shot every time they die.

I like the idea of drinking as a reward. The idea of drinking while playing Dark Souls come from the thought of trying the game again with a different character. After I quit shortly after I finished a difficult and ultimately redundant level.
