So I drink a LOT of coke. It shows, too. I figure I should probably stop drinking so much of it, but I'm looking for a decent alternative go-to drink (I get thirsty a lot).

What are your drinks of choice?

Personally, besides coke, I like drinking milk (2%), flavoured soda water, or, when I want a hot drink, cider.

I *love* this recipe for a chilled beverage...heat 1&1/2 cups of water to scalding in microwave. While water is heating, get a medium saucepan and put 2 bags of plantation mint, 2 bags of green tea with mint, 2 tsp of spearmint leaves & 2 tablespoons (more or less to taste) of sugar in a saucepan. If you have a 'tea ball' it's best to put the spearmint in
that before putting it in the saucepan. When the water is scalding, pour it in to the saucepan. Put the saucepan on medium to medium high heat and bring the contents to a boil. Once it is boiling, add 1/2 cup of room temperature water. Return to boil. Once again add 1/2 cup of room temperature water and return to boil. Remove from heat. Add 2 cups of ice cubes, and
allow them to melt. Remove the tea bags, and strain the tea carefully to remove the spearmint leaves. Add cold water and ice until the total volume is 1.25 liters. Chill and serve. Sip slowly...it's the good stuff.
Another great thing about this is that if you are trying to cut back on sugar, you can gradually reduce the amount that you put in when you make it until you are just putting about 1/2 a teaspoon in (you want to have a little sugar to bring out the taste of the spearmint).

Vanilla coke or orange juice! Either of those I could drink forever. Has not been kind to my teeth though.

Water. It's healthy. It's tasty. I don't have to feel bad about drinking a lot of it. And best of all, I can get it for free out of my faucet. Top that, bitches.

I've been on a tremendous Sun Drop kick the last few weeks. Normally it's a summertime thing for me, but it's been 80 degrees for more or less the last month, so it might as well be.

I love root beer. Barq's is my drink of choice when dealing with the main producers, but if I can find it, I go immediately for Virgil's. It's freaking amazing, all creamy and artisanal and shit.

I used to drink soda every day, but now it's maybe only a couple of times a week, if that. I really don't have much of a taste for excessively strong drinks anymore, however I still can't stand straight water (unless it's during a workout). My favorite drink is Diet Peach Snapple Tea. It's sweet, tasty, and not at all too strong. I don't like the non-diet version either; WAY too peachy.

Never much liked juice. Hate coffee. Hate alcohol (ESPECIALLY wine). Like sweet tea, but not big on fruit-flavored tea except for the diet peach snapple I mentioned before. Don't like unsweetened tea of any kind. Flavored water doesn't do it for me either. I like sports drinks like Gatorade, but I can't drink them all the time. I like milk, but I hardly ever drink it (it's expensive and spoils too quickly for me). I'm not a picky eater, but I guess I'm a pretty picky drinker. That said, I can stomach just about any drink except maybe a good amount of hard liquor, you just won't see me grabbing any of that stuff off the shelf.

Green tea. Black tea. White tea. Rooibos tea. Jasmine tea. Mint tea. Lemon tea. Bengal spice tea. Chai tea. Ginger tea. Hot or cold I just like tea.
When it comes to iced tea I'd personally recommend Arizona green tea. But anything by Arizona is sufficient.

Well outside of alcohol I drink a lot of Mtn Dew like the stereotypical gamer that I am. I also enjoy the odd energy drinks like monster and amp. I also drink a lot of coke and pepsi when there is no alcohol or any of the others.

If you're going to drink coke, you may as well have a beer. The health effects are roughly equivalent.

Fructose = ethanol without the buzz.

Me, I drink coffee.

Ice cold water is divine! When I am preparing for dinner I usually start by filling a bottle of water, putting it in the freezer and when my dinner is ready that water will be perfect.

I also drink a whole lot of coffee. When I really want to treat myself to something special I buy Tropicana Mandarin Morning. It's the best juice I know.

I love me some ice coffee.

Also, recently discovered ice tea. So very refreshing.

Other than that, uh... water?

Coffee, which I started drinking in my first year of uni and may have gotten myself addicted to...
Coke and Irn Bru on the fizzy drinks (or soda, I guess) side of things.
Milk, water, and fruit juice (not from concentrate) are all equally nice as well.
