I actually hate Dubstep. Whenever i hear it i think "wtf? How can people like this?" only because so many people do it the sound is very generic.

Good one, i like that reggae style dubstep...

I think it's a bit annoying.

It's just like techno but more... alternative? Edgy? Something like that.

I love it. Rather, I like the good dubstep. I agree there are way too many wannabe artists who attempt to 'dubstep remix' good songs. The result is painful to listen to. The professionals, though, make some sick beats

It makes me want to projectile vomit raw sulphuric acid over my mother, boil my bollocks in a vat of bubbling vulture piss and strip the skin off my forehead with supercharged electric sander equipped with diamond encrusted sand paper...

Those are some big words you are using, I bet if i found you and turned on Dubstep luodly, you'd just sit down and suck your thumb lol XD

Seriously, i dont see a point in posting such comments, what, do yo want to look like a really smart funny wisecracker? NO, it just makes you look, as if you're ripping off popular game critics like Yahtzee and AVGN, in places where it fits the least. I pity you.

Isn't dubstep that type of club music that is only popular in the UK? I would hardly call that the next big thing.

I LOVE Dubstep, especially Datsik, Bassnectar and Excision.
Although I do understand why people are having a hard time liking it.

I don't listen to too much of it, but what I've heard, I enjoy.

Also, it makes for some pretty amusing remixes.

I can't really tolerate genre, then again my interest in electronic music ends after new wave. I very much dislike the genre, the bass drive is far too repetitive, the lyrics usually make me laugh, I've never heard any track with a sense of melody. It just doesn't interest me.

With lyrics you probably mean filthstep or something, its meant to be funny and completely absurd lol XD

It is... huh, makes sense. Not too involved in the culture, I've just been forced to listen to it, a lot. I'll usually sneak away, play some Numan, Devo, etc.

I hate it. I'm not trying to be some kind of elitist here, I listen to all kinds of music and can get into quite a few electronically driven/techno tracks. What I don't get is that I have friends who I would otherwise consider to be Metalheads with realtively limited tastes in terms of variety and genre who love this shit. Que sera, sera, I guess.

Although I've just recently gotten into it in the last couple of months, I adore dubstep, especially the more hardcore stuff. Like one of the first people to reply, I consider Skrillex to be basically the apex of the genre, although he tends to go more towards electro than dubstep for most of his tracks.

I'm largely indifferent about it. Aphex Twin is really the only electronic music I listen to with any regularity.
Hmm, aphex twin.. now thats something different, windowlicker is pretty awesome, lol, but the clip is the weirdest effing vid ive ever seen :O
