Huh, interesting. My favorite games all seem to be WRPG's, shooters and RTS. I also love whatever you would call Assassin's Creed (open-world action stealth....thing? Action-Adventure just comes off as lazy.)

Least favorite? Well, I never really play Sports or Racing games, but that's more because they just don't interest me. Same thing with Fighting games, I suppose. Also, when I was younger, Like five or so years ago, I used to love JRPG's and hack and slash games like Dynasty Warriors. Now, I literally get no enjoyment out of either genre. Not sure what happened, just kinda died for me.

No idea if I fall into any generalization. Probably, but meh.

I love WRPGs, being an avid player of Oblivion, Mass Effect/2, Fallout, you name it. And I do dislike JRPGs. I give them a shot, but they always disappoint.I also do like shooters that make an effort to give you choices, with Crysis 2 being my primary FPS, Reach being my secondary.
Though my favourite genre would be space sim, though they've taken a steep decline, and So: Exodus doesn't look much good, no power management...

My favorite genre used to be JRPG's but that has stagnated and I only like WRPG's from Bioware and Bethesda so I would say action/adventure games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, God of War, the Metrioidvania's, and Resident Evil 4.

My least favorite is sports games because I play games to escape from reality and if I wanted to play football I'd just go outside and do it for real. Plus they arnt even full releases but merely roster updates each year.

Man i like all kinds of games. I really like western RPG's. I like sandbox games. I love a good beat em up and I also like shooters 1st and 3rd person. I love platformers like Mario. About the only games that I don't really like are JRPG's and RTS's. Not that they are inherently bad, I just can't really get into them.
