Does anyone notice that in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, the game does not follow the rules? For example the computer tapping an already tapped creature to make sure it does not untap during my next untap step? Well done computer. Glad to know the bugs are out.

I remember I'd claim the first magic game cheated all the time. It was the very definition of cruel and unsusual; whatever was least probable cards to come up, but most beneficial to the computer, they would be the ones to come out. It was maddening.

I don't remember anything Like this, though.

Can you give an example of the card that taps an already tapped creature? because its likely that it is actually a legal move that just doesnt make sense.. like blocking and then sacrificing the blocker but then it still blocks somehow

Aren't there certain cards to allow you to tap and make sure they don't untap during the next phase? Are you sure it wasn't that? If not, shoot an email to WOTC or someone. I've been playing 2012, and I haven't noticed this bug.

Edit: Also check here for bug info or to post a problem: http://community.wizards.com/go/forum/view/75842/134962/m:tg_-_duels_of_the_planeswalkers

In the first one the computer cast spells that cost 13 mana while it only had 11 available. Which was just enough to do exactly as much damage as I had life.

I had a earth elemental that attacked on my turn. On the computer's turn it played a Kor Hookmaster. It targeted my already tapped elemental, and made it not able to untap during my next untap phase. Am I wrong in how to play this card? Can you target a tapped creature to tap?

Unfortunatly you are wrong in how you play that card

Check the rulings on that gatherer page.

Im pretty sure it would only not work, if the card said something like "..cards tapped this way don't untap on their controllers next untap step"

There are other cards which are similar where you can use abilities even though you wouldnt think so, for example Garruk Wildspeaker, you can use his +1 to untap two lands, even if there arent two lands to untap, he still gets a +1 counter on him

Interesting I just had a quick look at the card you were reffering to and it looks as though its is a legal move as it dosent have the usual stipulation tap `untapped` target creature so yeah although the 1st ability is pointless because its already tapped the second ability still activates and makes it worthwhile.

Suppose it would be like playing duress on an opponent with no cards in hand if it had a cantrip ability. Im not a rules guru or anything though but it seems legal.
