This becomeing a big quote thing and I cant be bothered to edit it cause ill end up ruining it. And you asked when did it happen and I said in the last circle of hell and you asked why would it be frozen if he was in an inferno so I said inferno means hell in italian, the language the book was written in, so that is why he is in an inferno while it is cold.

What can i say? So they have finally finished the LEGENDARY Duke Nukem Forever - but what's the point? I bet it's not that good of a game, which means they couldn't possibly recoup any significant amount of money.

I agree...Wasn't Too Human in a similar position? Unless memory fails, Too Human was originally slated as an N64 release which fell into development purgatory. Once released, we were treated to garbage. I really hope the new Duke game is better off but, maybe this is just one of those things that we should have passed over, like BC.

If you followed the lawsuit at all this news shouldn't be shocking. Additionally, it won't be shocking when the game turns out to be crap. As the game only recently started being developed. No matter who develops it, it has more to do with releasing it for title's sake than for the sake of a good game. The name of the game concerning DNF in this case is fast release date, not quality game. There is too much investment already lost and everyone concerned with the title is in a panic frenzy.

It took them darn well long enough. I could have raised a family in the time it took them to finish it. And they probably haven't even finished it yet. It's probably still got some work left to do on it before it REALLY is ready to come out. If they push back the release date I won't be even slightly surprised.

You realize that the finished product was not by 3D Realms, but by Gearbox? Meaning it wasn't the lazy asses who finally made the game, but an actual competent dev team?

Didn't pay enough attention, but I still don't really care much about it - not to mention thhat the hype about it probably died a few years ago. Except if you're a "die-hard" Duke fan.
