I'll only believe it when it's released and on the shelves.

I'm totally not impressed with it being at a show. Duke Nukem Forever has made many appearances at E3 and elsewhere over the last decade or more, sometimes even with what looked like gameplay footage.

I win. I had a bet with some friends that it was done, and they said it was never going to happen. I laugh at everyone who said it was dead, and to forget it.

However, I personally don't care too much about Duke Nukem. It was fun when I was a kid, but I honestly have no further interest. If they release a demo, and it's absolutely amazing, then I'll consider getting this game. Otherwise I'll give it a pass.

I have two things to say about this as a long time gamer who often discusses the tales of this game with people.

a) I'll fucking believe it when I'm holding a copy, 50 bucks says it's cancelled again.

From what i've heard, duke nukem just sounds like an fps game with a ridiculous protagonist.

In fact, the general feel of this thread seems to be "wow it's actually coming out" as opposed to "yay it will be such a great game."
