Duke Nukem Forever Demo...So what do you think?

This thread is pretty self explanatory. If you have the Borderlands GOTY or Pre-Ordered Duke Nukem Forever then today you get to play the Duke Nukem Forever Demo. So if you've played it, what do you think? I thought it was slightly above average for a demo. You get to play the infamous stadium level, drive for a bit, and do some overall fun shooting. My only big complaint is that the load times are pretty bad. So tell me what you think.

EDIT: Ok now that the whole "oh-my-god-I'm-actually-playing-Duke-Nukem-Forever" feeling has worn off, I can give my honest opinion. Granted this is just the demo, but considering this game comes out a little over a week, the demo should be very accurate to what we will see in the full game. With that said I think the humor and overall novelty will be the star of the game and to be honest, that makes me very nervous. I totally agree that Duke seems to go down (pun intended) pretty easily, carrying only two weapons suck, the graphics are par, and I HATE the fact it doesn't seem to be a full out "run n' gun". Yes I know it's just the demo, but isn't the demo supposed to show off most/all of the game's qualities and make the player want to buy it? I hope I'm wrong and this just might be one of those cases where the demo was meh, but the full game was great. I really hope so. I know Gearbox had a LOT to live up to with this game, but I really pray they didn't just rush through it so they could say "HEY! We're the company that finished Duke Nukem Forever! LOOK AT US!!!"

Well I dunno about anyone else but I'm assuming it's not going up till the changeover in three and a half hours and even then you have take into account that everyone will try to get it at once, install and play. I'd say this would've been better put up at about 8pm GMT.

I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and downloaded it with no problems whatsoever. Since it's not open to everybody and you need a code to download it, I don't think there will be any major problems.

I second the loading times comment. I hope they're shorter for the final game.
An yeah there's regenerating health, but I didn't find it all that out of place, the highest difficulty level was pretty challenging the first time around (until you know where the enemies and guns are)

I love how there's a control scheme called MC and one called Duty Calls, mimicking the controls of Halo and CoD respectively. The jab at Half-Life was also worth a chuckle or 2

From what I understand you get the code with pre-order, pre-orders can be returned for cash from most stores. Also the minimum for pre-order is usually like $5. Doesn't force you to buy it at all, even if they don't release a demo for everyone.

I know we don't agree on other shooters, but thank fuck for you in this case.

The shooting felt shit, the first fight was me standing around holding down the LMB until the monster's health bar went down, the writing tickled me (very gently) once, its ugly as sin (they blur anything and everything that is 5 feet away), the driving was crappy.

I know that people want a shooter that doesn't take itself seriously, but that doesn't mean you should be settling for mediocrity.

It's not cover in the Gears sense, more in the COD sense. Get shot, duck behind, regen, come back.

And yeah, 2 weapon limit.

I'm not being hyperbolic for the sake of it here either, I rather wanted to like this game. But it just felt bland, broken and unpolished.
