I think the game will be funny, sure, but Portal 2?
I didn't even play Portal 2 myself and I still found it funny.
But can the humor carry the game? From what I see, I think not.

Granted, humor in its rawest form is purely subjective. As it stands though, I could only find this vaguely amusing, it certainly didn't make me laugh.
Games that I find funny are usually more like Portal or Psychonauts, the latter in particular actually making me laugh at loud at some points.
I guess what I'm saying is, you may find those scenes funny but I didn't. I mean no offence to you, after all there is no 'right' or 'wrong' about humor subjectively. Just that to me personally, I didn't find this very funny.

Played through the game this afternoon and all i can say is i enjoyed it. It's a decent game! Not perfect but it's ok and enjoyable. However it really really pissed me off when the Mainstream US reviewers came into the picture and completely took a huge dump on it.
Gamespot 30/100 really now? I played tons of games far worse then Duke Nukem forever but 30 is just taking a big shit on it. Here on the Escapist it scored 40 meh i can agree with most stuff but when you hate a game for the first 5 minutes you are obviously focused that it's a bad game before even playing. Not to mention Destructoid and 1up that gave i 20/100 and 0.
Feels like most "big" reviewers were started the game with a negative attitude and impatient standpoint. You can't call yourself a reviewer if you already made up your mind before playing it.

Interesting... I personally thought that the game itself had some genuinely fun moments (basically any sections where you're running around shooting a bunch of enemies) but the humor completely fell flat for me. I suppose humor is one of the most subjective things out there though.
