But anyway, since the game was supposed to go gold just a few days ago, am I the only one who thinks THE GAME IS FINISHED and it only needs a publisher? That and when the take2 / 3D realms lawsuit comes to an end, we could actually see the game.

I think that Duke died halfway through the developement proccess and they are now jumping up and down on his corpse in the hope he will wake up.

I always liked the Duke Nukem series. It always took itself with a few bags of salt and wasn't afraid to take the piss out of itself. It comes as a hope to some of us that even if DNF comes out that a game like it would, because all this depressing gritty realism is getting samey and unentertaining.

3D Realms release something to make it look like they arn't sitting about on their asses for 10 years and then we all forget about it again.

That's leaked footage put together by a "fan." The sounds aren't real, and neither is the voice. This "trailer" was put on Youtube in December 2009, it's just more people noticed it once April Fools came, for some reason.

Currently 3D Realms still exists, and the game appears to still be in development (not sure how, perhaps another company decided to help), but for now anything released about Duke Nukem Forever (that isn't coming from 3DRealms itself) is either fake, or a leak.

I'm still waiting. :]

On topic: The gameplay didn't look spectacular, it kind of reminded me of modern warfare. (not a good thing!)
