Duke Nukem Forever set for 2011

I first read about it in the latest GameInformer magazine. I mean, how could anyone miss that two-page spread of the manliest man to ever grace the gaming pixels of the decade?

My gut says this will be it. Personally, I hope they push back the release date to, say...December 21, 2012.

I trust gearbox and 2k for keeping their word on bringing Duke Nukem Forever to the consoles and the PC next year. However I feel people will kind of judge it too harshly due to duke's absence for 12 years. I feel it will be a good game, I mean its Duke Nukem were talking here. The formula might be the same with different graphics. Buts its the same o'l Duke we know and love, to revisit the old Duke Nukem series of ultra violence and over-the-top weaponry seems a welcoming sight. I am just optimistic about the game.

I expect it to be the most obnoxiously "macho man" game ever made, and incredibly irritating to people like me who do not believe that such things are the true definition of what a man should be.

To be a bit more on-topic... I don't care for this game. I'd like to avoid it as much as possible for reasons I have probably highlighted above.
