Yep. Top-seller means "most likely to make money" to every other publisher, which means expect more games like the top seller.Audio said:I might be the most preowned game in the UK but does anyone really care about 'top sellers' ?

Putting an FPS cap in without Vsync should lower your GPU usage as well as temp while keeping the mouse smoothing to a minimum. I frequently do it to avoid high temps.Wolfram01 said:I don't think it's Unreal... not sure though. If I turn Vsync off my FPS shoots up to 120-150 but no screen tearing, the only thing I don't like about that is my GPU and oddly my CPU usage shoots up really high. I don't mind the GPU usage (80% +), except that I have to turn up my fans, but it's wierd that my CPU usage hits up to 50-75% usage and I'm using an i5 750 at 4ghz. Anyway it's just kind of shitty that instead of being able to play with low power and quiet fan speeds I'll have to crank it all up just so I don't get mouse input lag.WaaghPowa said:Does it run on Unreal engine? If so just go into the system.ini file and cap the FPS, unless what you're doing it avoiding screen tearing.Wolfram01 said:Reviews should eviscerate games otherwise we'll never learn! Lol. Anyway, review scores hardly translate to sales, and DNF has so much hype and so many fans/ex-fans waiting to play that of course it'll do well.
My only complaint so far is for PC, Vsync causes excessive mouse lag.
I'll check the system.ini file out tonight.
Still waiting my friend.MiracleOfSound said:Still waiting? The game's been out 3 daysArt Axiv said:I'm still waiting for your DNF song... Come on, I'm your fan from the days when you posted that COD song!![]()

Seriously? How is it the reviewers fault that the general public has low standards? Reviewers looked over the game as objectively as possible and then graded it. I'm sorry that they are better at critiquing a game and finding its flaws than the average consumer. You hate them? Guess what? Most got into the profession to help ungrateful consumers like you.Triforceformer said:http://www.vg247.com/2011/06/13/uk-charts-duke-nukes-la-noire-from-top-spot/
And that is why I don't like reviewers/don't see the point of them. They verbally eviscerated the game, and it still does great from the looks of things. They're just regular jack-offs whose job just happens to be presenting one man's opinion as if it's more important than everyone else's. But right now, I can't help but wonder how the US sells will turn out. As much as I hate reviewers, I hate the fact that they actually influence people even more.
Your thoughts on this turn out for Duke Nukem?
Forgive me, but are you saying that not liking a game means we aren?t ?manly men??VikingSteve said:Hail to the King baby!
If you can't appreciate Duke for what he is, you should probably reach between your legs, and if you don't feel any balls, it explains your lack of appreciation.
Ah, but Bioshock was a new IP (if you don't count "spiritual successor" bullshit) when it came out. As where DNF has had fanboys pining over it for 12+ years.WaaghPowa said:OR people would rather see for themselves than have someone else tell them, because other people's opinions aren't always trust worthy. When Bioshock first game out for the Xbox everyone was going on about how it's so great. Skeptical, I gave it some time and rented it. I thought it was boring, atmospheric and all that shit, but I couldn't play longer than a few hours because it was too easy. It wasn't until I got it on Steam sale for 5 dollars that I finished it.Eighth 1 said:Because fanboys will always ignore reviews until AFTER they buy the game. Same shit would happen if, say, Skyward Sword managed to suck horrendously. The fanboys would still buy it up...Triforceformer said:I meant that more like "What's the point of reviewers? They absolutely kick the shit out of the game and it still does fine from the looks of things".
I do count the "spiritual successor" bit because it was basically the same story as System Shock 2, just different setting and easier difficulty.Eighth 1 said:Ah, but Bioshock was a new IP (if you don't count "spiritual successor" bullshit) when it came out.
