Dance or die?
I too often disgustingly gorge myself on the internet smorgasbord of little dumb entertaining things. Goofy rednecks laughing at amateur car jumps, girls dancing to 90's europop, atheist circle-jerk rage comics, cats being cats, Pimp My Ride, /fa/, /r/WTF, making self-aware comments to strangers who probably don't care, etc.
/fa/ is one of the most shameful on that list because people might assume I go there to vainly stare at pictures of attractive people in the hope some of their stylishness will rub off on me. Not at all. Fashion is an interesting sociological phenomenon, and to an extent, an art, and I go there to... think about that stuff.
I'm going to go read a book now.
This. I enjoyed Life Sux by Wavves. Buying it was mildly embarrassing. It reeks of whiny spoiled trend-whore adolescence, even though the symbols are supposed to be ironic.thefrizzlefry said:Two words: Pop Punk.
