Dumbest Reason(s) for Hating a Game?

My Step-brother and step-dad both agree that
"Any game that isn't CoD is for faggots"
"Xbox is for whiny little kids"
"All PC games are gay WoW clones"
"[insert shooter here] is a CoD ripoff"

I have games that I play regularly on PS3 Xbox 360 and PC, the only fps I play is Medal of Honor, which is from an older series than CoD but is still a CoD ripoff somehow. People like that shouldn't be allowed to even look at a video game or the console you play it on, let alone have an opinion about games they've never tried.

The generic "all video games are evil" mindset spread by the media doesn't help either.

Failed expectations. And I'm not talking "Oh they advertise this game to be amazing and I was so hyped for it, but when I played it it was only average." No I'm talking like "I was expecting this game to have more story/action/puzzles/whatever". Sure the game wasn't what you thought it would be but that doesn't make it bad. For instance if you went into Dragon Age expecting something similar to Oblivian or Fallout 3, you would be dissappointed. And its fine if you say "Oh, this just isn't what I expected, I'll go play something else", but whining about it is just stupid.
