Let me start off by saying that this is a true story. Really, I swear.

Back in my freshman year in High School I had a friend of mine, Milissa, tell me that she had just found out that she had been spelling her first name wrong for the past sixteen years. She had been spelling her name Melissa her entire life until she looked at her birth certificate and saw that her name was spelled with an "i".

You just can't make that kind of stuff up.

It gave me much sympathy for teachers though. And it was quite interesting the way he killed off logic so often.
