Alone in the Dark:the New Nightmare was the only game of the series I played, and you were alone and it was TOO DAMN DARK!!!!!! Prostreet is a bullshit title though.

I was referring to the newest incarnation of AitD. Never played the New Nightmare.

Half life 2 episode 2. Not only is half life a silly name on its own but by keeping the name it implies they think it is a good name. The whole episode 2 thing is stupid in that it is more like 2 and 2/3s as being the second game it is automatically episode 2.

It doesn't imply that they think it's a good name, it implies that they like the series. And I explained the meaning of the name Half-Life in an earlier post.

I realise now that there have been about umpteen bazillion versions of Final Fantasy and Ossum is right, why is the Fantasy always Final?

Because, when Square was making the original Final Fantasy, they thought it would be their last game. It just happened to be really popular.

Oh god. That's not even a title. Sounds like they were just trying to think of a name and someone said 'Well its about bee's, there's a movie of it oh and it's a game' then some smart cookie said 'How about Bee Movie Game?'

Why is Killzone a stupid title exactly?

It just sounds a little cheesy imo.

Alright guys, here's the zone, go kill in it! Also it is not like the word Killzone is related to the game world itself. e.g. Halo because of the giant ring planet etc.

It's like calling a driving game DriveZone I guess haha.

I think the response at the bottom of the first page makes a good point regarding why it's a good game name.

I don't see what's wrong with the name Killzone. A killzone is the region(s) of the human body where a bullet would has a high chance of killing your target. It's a great name for an FPS.
