Is it just me or do these covers look like they came from a Scholastic book fair.

That was my thought as well. Obviously you can't judge a book by it's cover -- or a game system by it's art -- but if that's the tone they're intending to set, it doesn't inspire much confidence.

You must not have heard of FATAL then.

Jokes aside, I do agree with you guys as well, the art does look a bit on the cheesy side. However, I am contemplating the same things as you. The price tag is beyond ridiculous, especially when all three core books haven't even been released yet! Geez, and I thought Games Workshop was bad about pricing...
