Duran Duran Unveils Second Life "Residence"

Along with some of the other people in this thread I just want to put into perspective that Second Life is NOT a game. That doesn't mean it is "srs bzn" but it is what happens when you make a 3D Oekaki, cross it with a chat room, and let people have their own reasons for playing. Also, depending on how well you know external programs like Photoshop, 3DS Max, ect. you can very easily play this game 100% for free.

Imagine world of warcraft. Now, take out the war. And most of the craft. And you pay money for stuff, like outfits. That don't do anything. And when you get your perfect avatar, you meet other avatars, and then run away to islands in the digital sea to spend the rest of your lives together.
