Dusting off an untouched console...what games brought you to do it?

For the past 6 months, my PSP has been utterly useless, and it is about to live again!
I've got to finish Patapon before I even attempt the sequel, and there were the releases of Star Ocean 1 and 2 for it recently, too. Also, the TBA 2009 release date of Disgaea 2 is a good enough reason to get me playing the original again with a fresh file. Only one thing stopped me from the Star Ocean games: I couldn't find the cord to charge it. And I just found it behind my furniture about one hour ago!

So, have you even dusted off a rarely used console, and if so, for what game or games?

Dusted off my 360 to play some SR2, also my SNES for some Urban Strike.

i am currently playing resident evil 1,2 and 3

i dont know why though
i guess its because i was playing nazi zombies and wished i had an infinite rocket launcher

I got my Xbox out for Halo 2, which lasted all of a week.

Then again for Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, which actually lasted 6months (that game is an underappreciated gem) thanks to free Live cards.

Not been used since though.

Even though SFII: Turbo is hardly practice for the balls-to-the-wall awesome of SFIV...

had one of these just a week ago,I remembered a game I had(which I gave a lend to a friend which I forgot about,its was a PS2 game),Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis so I hunted my friend down and forced him to salvage it and dusted off the PS2 which had been hiding atop my closet for years now and I had a good play of it,good game,but unfortunately short.

Was gonna grab a copy of Spyro 2 so I can complete the series.
I completed 1 and 3 in one sitting.

Lately, I haven't been dusting off consoles for retro games, I have just been buying them on the virtual channel on my Wii (the only reason it gets used at the moment).

I still pull out the N64 for a bit of goldeneye, blast corps, and Mortal Kombat 3. I also dusted off my NES last year to play all the marios and ninja turtles (stupid ninja turtles, I still haven't been able to beat the level where you have to drive around the city...seriously, after 20 years, you would think I could do it now). And before my SNES got busted, I used to periodically go back and complete A Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country 1-3, and super mario kart.
