1a) If my attacker has died/dying 'hum the final fantasy victory theme.'
1b) If my attacker lives "In retrospect I should have grabbed that extra life."
2) "I see the Game Over screen now and with no more lives, well...I guess I'll go back and start again."
If I had more time I'd try to think of some better ones but I decided to post the first things that came to mind before this thread is swamped in replies.
Edit: Wait I have one more, an even better one for number 2.
