Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 Heading Out to PS3 and 360

I'm pretty sure that the ACE series of games are based off of the ZOE engine, or at least one similar to it, although the first 3 would require a modded PS2 to play, I'm pretty sure PS3 games aren't region-encoded, meaning ACE:R Could be played with a NA console...

Here's a Shin Getter Robo level played with the Freedom Gundam in ACE 3, for example.

I never owned either of the first two games but I sure did play the heck outta them. Granted I did come in on a really big lag with them as the first time I played 1 was roughly around the time 2 had come out so I was fairly disappointed when neither game had any of the gundams from 00 (yes I know its unfair to say that about 1, hush). I never really was inclined to buy them because of that actually, but with 3 havin them? Sign me up.

I so can not wait to get all up in peoples faces with 00...or possibly snipe people. I wonder how his gundam would even work in this series....

Gundam Battle Universe seemed to have been the only one in the UC timeline that had a semi-realistic atmosphere. But like most Gundam games it seem, the melee system is hit or miss.

Hell no, otherwise I wouldn't have made such a big deal out of it now.

But it also makes no sense, as me and my housemate caned the first game into submission, and I played quite a bit of 2. So I should have known.

Still desperately want Deathscythe though. Why the hell would you only include Wing and Epyon? What kind of monsters are you Namco?

They're cruel beasts, but you could always try the quite fun but seriously challenging Gundam battle Assault games (Deathscythe Hell Custom is on there).

Now the Epyon Custom looks awesome...unbelievably awesome...and there's that one from Unicorn Gundam that I think is meant to be an upgrade on the Sazabi, that also looks awesome.

Nah, I'll stick with Gundam Wing: Endless Duel.

Ahh, Endless Duel is a fun game (the Epyon's idle animation in Battle Assault 2 is the same as in Endless Duel), but Heavy Arms is such a whore of an opponent.

Just be sure to remember, you won't be able to run any of the first 3 ACE games on a North American PS2. At least not one that hasn't been modded to be capable of playing Japanese games.

I personally play an ISO of ACE 2 & 3 on my computer using emulator software (Oh no! A pirate, flame him quikzors!1!!1!), seeing as how the price for importing from Japan is fracking NUTS, but if you do choose to order the game you can still play it on a computer using emulator software by inserting the disc into a computer's DVD drive.

I'm really excited by this. I can only hope we get more than one character from the new series, though I doubt it. It would be nice to get Garrod and Jamil and both Frost Brothers from X, all four Meisters, Graham, Ribbons and Saachez. 0083 means we'll get Anavel Gato, which is really nice.

The game I most regret buying was the first on in this series.

I actually liked the first's "story" and setup more, though I enjoyed the gameplay advances of the second. Having an actual singleplayer campaign is a must for me. Beyond that, 2 is superior to 1 in almost all respects. Wish I still had those games. Excited for 3, so getting it. Whens the release?
