So the highly expected Xbox 360 redesign? Microsoft won't be making any statements, they will confirm it at their conference. I hope it is real, and that RROD is solved.

A redesign could address the RROD issues, seeing as the internal components were the problem before. Things like new chips for example which have gradually been released for the 360, Jasper and Falcon.

I'm sure the problem could be fixed by changing certain internal components; but, what i'm saying is that there will be know way to know if this redesign addresses those issues for a year or so. If in a year, rrod doesn't seem to be a problem, then ms hit the mark. But, until that time, we have only ms's promise that the new machine will do its job and not meltdown if a warm breeze blows its way.

Yeah... not if the price is higher than the current models. Microsoft has lost my trust after 3 360 replacements already. When I have to replace my 4th 360, if this thing is the same price as the old ones, then I'd get it.

Why don't they just throw in a terabyte in there? They are almost to the point where they are dirt cheap?
And its about time they put in a built in wifi. That $100 attachment for a wireless receiver was some bs.

Why would anybody buy one if they already have an original or elite? I have an original launch one and it does the job fine, I see no reason to replace it because it's a smaller one.
