E3 Day 1: What are your most excited about?

The Tomb Raider demo was ridiculously awesome...and it sounded so much like a porno.

Far Cry 3 was my personal favorite. Totally didn't expect it, and it looked really amazing.

Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?

Yeah, that also caught me by surprise. I enjoyed Far Cry 2, though it was too big and too realistic for its own good and got repetitive. Still, Far Cry 3 looks gorgeous and it looks like they made some key changes into the gameplay to make it less of a chore to do everything really.

I just watched the demo for Tomb Raider... and I'm interested. I really was just expecting it to be a relentless T&A side show.

And they actually did announce Sly 4? So the Infamous 2 demo didn't lie then. I should really get around to playing the first 3.

I'm really trying to avoid spoiling Mass Effect 3 for myself though. I went into Mass Effect 2 completely blind, and that made the experience so much more awesome. Aside from stupid things like the thermal clips that is.

IMHO, the only interesting thing that came out of the big conferences is the Sony multiplayer, non-splt screen TV. Everything else was meh.

I'm going to go the Yahtzee route and believe everything is going to be shit until it proves itself otherwise. No excitement, no disappointment. So yeah... Oh fuck it. Farcry 3, Skyrim, and the New Tomb Raider in spite of it sounding like a porno because it actually doesn't look like one for once.

Somehow Ubi managed to convince me that they haven't thrown the Ghost Recon franchise off a cliff just yet. Massive improvement over that fucking mess they showed the last time. If there's character customization, I'll gladly open my wallet.

Aside from that, I'll probably pick up MW3, Tomb Raider and BF3.

Tomb Raider, Halo-HD (and a sequel trilogy!), Far Cry 3 looked neat (never played the first two), Mass Effect 3, The Old Republic, Rayman, Assassin's Creed Revelations, and the PSV in general (c'mon Sony, give Nintendo some real competition!) And, of course, really looking forward to Nintendo's conference tomorrow (less excited about the forums filling with obnoxious nit-picking nitwits, but what can you do?)

That does look pretty exciting, and I might have to check it out since I do play eve. Will be interesting to learn exactly how it will effect everything in game.

EDIT: Funny, it's a PS3 exclusive, but, has a xbox logo in the bottom left... last minute decision perhaps?

Mass Effect 3 and Uncahrted 3 really are the thing I am most excited for. Batman Arkam City is also great, but not up there entirely. The new Sly game also touched my inner child(In the good way)
