Let's see: Splinter Cell Conviction should finally appear and then piss in my face as it will remain a XBOX 360 and PC exclusive which means I will never be able to finish off Sam Fisher's story,

Microsoft will continue down the shitty and pathetic family games market on the cold and sterile XBOX 360 before announcing that another PS3 exclusive has jumped ship,

Nintendo will brag about how awesome they all aren't, how much money they hopefully haven't got and continue to release shitty games like Poney PETZ Active Sports MIDI Synthesizer Ringtone Minigame Collection No. 8,945,216,327 whilst continually shitting in the faces of hardcore gamers with fake "you held out long enough so here's another fucking Animal Crossing game, hardcore gamers!" announcement,

Sony, meanwhile, will kick ass! Had you fooled there, right? No. Sony will actually announce some "meh" looking titles and brag about how successful it's selling figures aren't,

There'll be bugger all important game announcements made inside the ACTUAL E3,

And the show will remain boring and business like for shitty boring business men no matter how much they said they'd amp it up (they said that it would be fun last year. But it wasn't).

And on the crazy side of things: Duke Nukem will appear!

As Yahtzee would say: "All ye abandon hope for the shiny things being presented towards you."

Some info on Spirit Tracks that will hopefully convince me it isn't just Phantom Hourglass all over again. Dare I dream.
Something big about a new series. We need a new Pikmin, so to speak.
Also, information on Pikmin 3.

Sony and Microsoft will probably announce a new brown FPS.

Oh yea I forgot:

EA will sit on the stage counting the money coming in from the Sims 3 release and pretend nobody else is there.

R*/Criterion will announce that they will continue to polish the turd they call GTA 4/Burnout Paradise with more $20 mission packs/$2 cars and that they wont make another GTA/Burnout until the next generation and everybody has completely lost interest.

Bethesda will say: "psyche! Bethesda employees are the only ones who will be able to download Mothership Zeta. How's that for exclusive suckers?"

Atari will be picketing outside saying "If it wasn't for us."

Midway CEO will rip off his mask to reveal a Skull that breaths fire on himself.

Lucasarts will drag George Lucas on stage and cut off his hand with a butterknife.

Volition will announce an open world 3rd person accounting sim. It will be the highlight of the week.

Grasshopper will announce that they will actually finish their next game before trying to sell it to us.

Gabe Newell will be ritualistically killed (old-school Inquisition style) by an angry mob of sony fanboys.

SEGA will ritualistically kill a poor hedgehog.

Jaffe will unfortunately have his face half melted by an oil splash from a deep fryer at the SEGA booth, don a mask, and drop a giant screen on everybody.

In my crystal ball:

LucasArts announces another FPS Star Wars game. You get to play as Vader, but the game is wrought with flashbacks to his days as a whiny pod-racing kid. The Bantha Pudu minigame is the best part - it's basically minesweeper. The lightsaber peripheral doesn't work either.

Sunsoft rises from the grave to announce Fester's Quest on XBLA. It will meet greater success later on Wii.

Booth babes return. Awkward groping and cheesy posed photos commence.

Infinity Ward brings a demo of Modern Warfare 2. There is much rejoicing.

A Katamari Damacy sequel is announced. An amazingly intuitive trackball peripheral is included, and the graphics are updated to current-gen standards.

Those predictions are both hilarious. First because in looking at Fester's Quest now, it was a minor miracle that game ever got greenlit in the first place. "Of course there's demand for a game with an old completely bald protagonist!"

Also, the booth babe pictures are sooo awkward. "Yes, son, that's me posing with a girl pretending to be a character in a game she neither cares about nor will ever play. And no, your mom was not a booth babe."

Pikmin3 (or a pikmin for DS) Knights of the old republic3 (might make me replace my xbox) Assassins creed2 (rumors are about for this game already) Kingdom hearts3 (thats my silly one) professor layton (not sure if we will see this, but I hope so) a random stab in the dark and I'll say a Yoshi's Island game for WII (or DS), some rubbish sega game (happens every E3).

Some things I'm hoping for:

-Left 4 Dead price cut (Not a breaking announcement, but I'd sure be happy)
-Next Castlevania, hopefully similar in scope to Curse of Darkness.
-Gamecube titles for Virtual Console
-Final Fantasy V remake

Despite all this franchise talk, though, I really just want to see something fresh, new, and innovative.

Right now, all my 27 eyes are on Sony, but the other 26 eyes on on Microsoft to see if they pull any "Final Fantasy 13 now on 360!" bullshit like last year.

It'll give me another reason to scream in frustration at the internetz! :D

I expect to see even more sequels announced and/or demoed for the current group of seemingly endless sequels like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Madden etc.

What I wish to see are some brand new IP's that are not remakes of classic games, nor based on movies nor TV shows. That would be nice.

E3 PREDICTIONS:

I predict that BioWare will confirm that there will be a Rogue Geth party member in Mass Effect 2, which will be that game's HK-47. This I've been calling since before the announcement trailer, and pretty much everything that came out since then only confirmed it more and more. Confidence: 99.9%

Nintendo will announce the next Zelda game for the Wii, and it will not be a Twilight Princess Gaiden Game. I have a feeling that it will most likely completely redo the franchise. Cue fanboys screaming, like they did after the Wind Waker announcement. Confidence: 90% that it gets announced. 50% that it isn't related to TP.

There's a slim chance that Microsoft will announce plans for the next Xbox. Confidence: 25%

EA Sports will have Madden 10 dominate their show, with announcements of "revolutionary" changes to their Madden franchise, when really everything is the same thing in a different wrapper. Of course, they can always surprise us with an overhaul of the franchise mode. Something it's needed since 07. Meanwhile the NHL franchise will receive almost no floor time, but continue to make huge strides in the realm of virtual hockey. Confidence: 97% that they say Madden will be better. 1% that they actually make good on that promise.

Sega's next Sonic game will suck. Confidence: ∞%

I predict that they will raise great expectations with incredible demos and trailers and then fail to live up to them (Lair syndrome), but only after they cause us to find most of our current games to feel much less lack luster. E3 is not on my list of things I give 2 shits about.

I am almost 100% sure that we will see Mass Effect 2
I want Stalker call of Pripyat to be shwon but that is extremely unlikely as its an Eastern European Dev.
I would also like to see Half Life 2 Episode 3 in any shape or form but thats as about as likely as Fox news doing non-biased, interesting and well thought out reports.

Nintendo will have nothing, Microsoft will have lots of nice things lined up (I'm thinking future projects from them), and Sony will take the cake with a ton of previews for good exclusive releases.

My pre-emptive verdict? Core fans of Nintendo will continue to be disappointed, while all other groups will find something to enjoy out of it.

EDIT: I didn't express my opinion accurately enough for my tastes. Fixed!
