Final Fantasy XIII-2. The fact the Square Enix have not seen what a mistake they are making by not only make another squeal to a FF game (because X-2 was sooo good)but making a sequel of XIII that was shit.

What makes this worse is that in order to make XIII-2 they have taken resources away from FF Verses XIII which look good.

And before anyone gets on my case about me calling FF XIII shit it is just my opinion and if someone out their was able to actually like that game then good for you just do not start telling me why because we just will not agree. Also do not try to justify the game being good based on sales figures. Just because people bought the game does not mean that it was good. Case and point I bought it and I hated it.

We learnt very little about most decent games. I already knew the Mass Effect 3 stuff more or less, I just hadn't seen it in action. Gears of War 3 showed how awesome Horde 2.0 will be, but little else of worth, the campaign trailer showed that they haven't decided to give up the crappy, cheesy andover-the-top dialogue, despite hiring Karen Traviss as the lead writer.

The only real positive apart from the information about Horde 2-.0 for Gears was that Halo Anniversary will play identically to Combat Evolved but with graphical and audio updates, which is exactly what I wanted for it.

Well most of the big games I was waiting for probably will be at TGS instead (ie FF Versus, news on Persona 5) so I was pretty content.

I left perfectly satisfied.

I guess I do wish Nintendo followed up on the third parties on 3DS and announced a few things, but given the number of titles as the presser that's forgivable, seems they were focused on First Party. Totally validated my purchase of the 3DS XD and the free stuff and launch of the system update didn't hurt either.

I guess I also wished for a more diverse lineup for PSV, since I'm not big on the big Sony franchises (to be fair, Blazblue at launch did pique my interest), not to mention release dates for said games (here's hoping the launch lineup is decent...) but I wasn't planning to get one day one anyways, and the price point was already a pleasant surprise.

No FF versus 13.
I actually agree. Sure, I don't like Noctis' character design because he looks like goddamn Sasuke Uchiha, but the game itself looks cool.

I was disappointed by Microsoft's...everything. Noone wants the goddamn Kinect, Microsoft!
I find it really odd that people complain that Microsoft wasn't supporting Kinect enough and when they announce a fair amount of titles people complain they showed too much Kinect.

You do realize that they've sold like 11 million units and now need to support the platform right?

That Ubisoft stated no 'Beyond Good and Evil 2' till' the next hardware swap. I was immensely disappointed. Though I'm happy they're still interested in making it, sliver lining.

Valve wasn't there but I knew they weren't going to but Gabe said there's three big surprises from Valve this year and none have been mentioned yet. :D

My biggest disappointment though is I have absolutely no interest in 'Skyrim' or 'Mass Effect 3' even though I can plainly see why people like and want to play them. :/

However, I still have a lot to look forward to still so that's good.

E3 could never live up to my expectations. There is just too many things I want. Off the top of my head:

After the sly announcement I prayed Jak and Daxter was next. But no. Still, Sly = YES
The last guardian a no show
Valve was nowhere to be found
The Battlefield 3 tank gameplay was painful to sit through.
New Fable looks pretty dumb
Mass effect 3 looked sketchy.

Probably more but those are what really stuck with me.

I would have liked to see the new Splinter Cell - you know, the one that better be heading back to Chaos Theory's level of intelligence and stealth before I start fucking shanking people out of rage.

I remain dubious of Hitman: Absolution. A helicopter-chase sequence and retard-o-vision? Hmmm. I know the latter is only on certain difficulty levels, but I doubt that its not impacted on the game's design. The tone also seems to be more Contracts (bleh) than Blood Money (awesome-o), but we shall see.

Was glad to see Far Cry 3 though, and Arkham City gave me a raging stiffy.

I was disappointed in the complete lack of anything new being unveiled. The only new game that I didn't know about that looks like it could be cool is Overstrike.
Pretty much this.

In general, E3 seemed kind of lackluster. The game I was most interested in was Skyrim, but that only got a 30 min Behind closed doors video. Great for the media, sure, but it left the rest of us with some massive blue... um, fingers...

Would have liked to see more playable demos for a lot of games, but there seemed to be almost none this year. Everything was, "Oh, watch this scripted video. Now ask questions that I'll most likely deflect because I don't want to make too many promises."

Best Part of E3 this year is going to be Yahtzee's Massacre next week.

Can you provide me the link about what you said was going on with Beyond Good and Evil 2? If, true, I guess there's very little for me to look forward to from Ubisoft for a while.
