I agree, MW will probably become Activision's Madden. Oh, and I'm not buying that game anyway because of those 3 hours of singleplayer(which I finished). Come to think of it, they could've made more money if they slit the game into SP and MP versions and then overpriced the MP version, because as far as I know MP has always been the selling point.rabidmidget said:Not compared to Activision, who sold MW2 for more than the average game price because they couldRetardinator said:Actually, I didn't know that. It's nice to see them trying to make things better, for once.CD-R said:You do realize EA abandoned DRM in all thier upcoming games right. Dragon Age didn't have any and Mass Effect 2 isn't going to have any either. Depite all the flack EA has taken, it looks like they listen to criticism and are at least trying to do things better. They managed to save Brutal Legend from developer hell so that has to count for something.Retardinator said:EA is mainly here to introduce many young people to the fine art of multi-torrenting.
I had absolutely no trouble playing their games lately, mostly because I never bought a damn thing. The idiots don't deserve it anyway and it's easier to make the pirated games run than their DRM-scum-sucking BS. Only game that might be worth buying for being something nice in their portfolio is Mirror's edge... but that's overpriced so they screwed that up too.
(Retardinator is a proud owner of all Source games released by Valve in the post-HL2 era)
They *still* overprice, though![]()
But EA releases multiple titles within a year, and every new title (something actually original) instantly becomes a franchise or trilogy or whatever, with each sequel more pricey than the last one. And all those Maddens...
This gave me a chuckleCokeColaForTheWIn said:Actually DICE have made the company recover its edge
