I use the In Ear iPod Earphones. They never fallout 3 and have very, very good sound quality. They're quite cheap too, about £10, I think.

Something similar to these, mine have more rounded cone thingies that are detachable.

What's your price range?
Under 50.
As a few others have said, definitely Sennheiser. There are models in every price range and short of three hundred dollars or so they're the best around. Though if you're a basshead and used to cheaper buds, be warned that Senns in general tend to have less (and cleaner) bass than other headphones.

Koss PortaPro headphones are the best i've tried in my experience. They've got awesome sound quality and they're really comfortable too.

If you're looking for quality, get anything Skull Candy.
Skullcandy's okay, but they like to break just after warranty runs out. OP, If you want great quality, I suggest Sennheiser or Grado. I have a pair of iGrados, they were $50 and they are probably one of the best quality headphones I've ever listened to. Much better than the old Skullcrushers I used to have, I'll tell you that. Sennheisers, I've heard, are just as good, but they're generally more expensive. Also, they have a completely different sound. If you listen to Rock, Metal, Techno, etc, get Grado. If you listen to Country, Jazz, Classical, etc, get Sennheiser. Also, another great brand I've heard of is AKG, you might be able to find something from them that fits your needs. Good luck, and happy listening!

I'm looking for a new pair of earbuds and headphones because my ipod earbuds are almost completely destroyed. Any suggestions? What are your favorite?

Sony In ear headphones. Unfortunately I think these things may be discontinued, I haven't seem em lately. They are, however, in your price range. I've had the same pair for a few years and they just refuse to die despite all the abuse they've endured (I use them at work, and I work in an engine room).

EDIT: I'm not sure what's up with reviews about the audio quality/durability. Maybe they changed the product and kept it looking the same? All I know is that my going on 3 year old headphones are still alive and kicking and sound good.

For ultimate portable audio quality you cannot beat in ear headphones. Earbuds are just fucking terrible in general, but a good in-ear headphone can give you incredible audio quality without breaking the bank.

The downside? Gotta clean them up occasionally due to ear gunk.

I have some Skull Candy ear buds that do not fall out because they have memory foam tips. They play music well enough, and block out quite a bit of sound from outside. Plus, if you want a newer version, you can just destroy them in a way that it's not obvious and send it in for lifetime replacement warranty.

Audio technica makes some very good clip on headphones, for about 50$ on amazon, great sound and comfort.

I have some amazing Skullcandy ones but I'm pretty sure that they cost some guy a lot of money. It kinda depends on your price range I guess, but it seems to be the more expensive, the better.

Oh, your Apple product is breaking and they won't fix it or replace it? Big surprise.

I'm using some Sony earphones (i think) but my recommendation is that you get wireless ones. They're alot more convenient.

Skull candies are great, but often the wire wears at the end near the plug. Newer models have a small plastic cap to keep the end from bending. If you can't find those, I suggest just getting them anyway and storing them carefully.

If you want to do headphones, I suggest SkullCandy (Their earbuds are good from what I hear too, but I don't like the buds) for Phones, depending on the range go with either
http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/lowrider-shoe-blue.html
or
http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/configable/index/links/id/996/cid/7/

Lowrider or Icons, both are great, I have pairs of both.

And for the buds, I think these
http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/configable/index/links/id/1088/cid/6/
are the ones all my friends use

They go on sale at FYE alot for some reason, you can grab them for about half price.

I've always used the 10 or 15 dollar Skullcandy ear buds. They always work great until I yank a wire and one side stops working.

I'll disagree on that. Skull Candy have been shit for me. Yes, the sound quality is great, but the products have been far from durable. I've had to replace mine every few months because something on them would break. I would be using them daily, but I would keep them in very good condition. When not in use, they were inside their case, yet they still broke so quickly.

If you have money, maybe go for the Apple ear buds. They're just like the Skull Candy, except they haven't broken for me yet.

No way man the headphones have terrible quality, they're all style and no substance. My friend has a pair of the in-ear phones and they're quite good I think.

I've never liked earbuds; they never really stay in unless you're sitting very still, and even then they can fall out easily. I got a $20 pair of Sony headphones at Staples, and they serve me quite well; my only issue is that my ears get a bit sore after extended use.

My philosophy is to buy the cheap ten dollar ones. That way when they die five months later due to planned obsolescence (like all head phones/earbuds will including the expensive ones) I dont have to rage over wasting $70 on a piece of shit.
