This is gonna age me, but it's running home from church on Sunday in really uncomfortable shoes at the age of four to try Frogger on the atari before getting frustrated and making my Mom do it. Then for my sixth birthday I got a NES, a used NES, it is important to note, with the wildly popular M.C. Kids! Wait.. no one knows M.C. Kids? The product placement for McDonald's game? Hold on a tic...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.C._Kids This game was also ridiculously hard and I never made it past Grimace's level. I stuck more to bowling, Double Dribble, Super Mario 1, The Legend of Zelda (woot Gold cartridge!) and eventually my favorite, Kirby's Adventure. I also had some obscure titles like a Willow tie in to the movie and Athena. I loved Athena since I was finally playing a girl. Oh, I had the original Final Fantasy for all of a week before my cousin's took it because theirs was damaged.
