It's not something elaborate, but the earliest memory I have is standing in my old house in my hometown in Texas before my family moved out to California for year, came back a year after that and redecorated the old house. The only details I can recall are the really ugly looking floor tile we used to have and the fact that I was 3 feet tall. This was when I was 3.
Climbing up the bed side table in my parents room, and putting my fingers into a 240 V light socket. It was switched on for some reason.
For some unknown reason, that memory has stuck with me. [/sarcasm]
I don't have another memory for years after that.
My earliest memory is of a dream. The dream takes place in space (ton of stars) and I slowly (in first person) rise higher up until I see a ton of musical instruments playing themselves. I can't remember the tune though. I remember waking up shortly after the music plays and run into the kitchen to tell Mom;
"Mom! I had a horrible dream!"
"What was it?"
"It was music!"
I then remember eating cereal and watching Looney Tunes on a small blue TV with a large orange power button.
I'm not listening to music: I'm listening to Movie-Bob's review of Nightmare on Elm Street
I think new years eve of 1999 (at least clearly)
or fiddling around with my mom,s cellphone (I think that was either late 90,s or early 2000,s since it was a small monochrome brick)
or commercials for cellphones (I think it was around the time they were starting to get popular)(late 90,s I think)
Probably my first (or was it second?) birthday or something. Barney cake and all. Pretty sure I was wearing a Winnie the Pooh shirt. I don't know why I remember that though and not some later stuff.
I was between my second and third birthday when my mom took me to the local fire-station and I saw the fire truck. I probably have earlier memories but that's the one that I remember being my first.
I'm not sure how old, but I managed to climb all the way to the top of the stairs, looked back, got scared of hieghts and had my Dad carry me back down
I remember not wanting to go to pre school because it was my birthday. That's about the earliest thing I can recall. Not a very good memory on me I think.
for some reason both of my earliest memmories are actually dreams I had when I was really young (and on top of that, still lived in canada ^^)...
one of them was having one of my brother's tranformer's action figure break into my room and choke me (guess who it was [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodimus])
When I was two, after watching Aladdin and thinking I was him, I did some extreme bad ass ninja moves jumping off the back of a couch, and got a broken ankle and head bandages for my troubles.
