I was around two years old. After waking up one morning I spent several minutes just lying in bed, staring at the ceiling in my room. Perhaps it was the first time I had really noticed it or something, because I seem to recall being fascinated by its rough, irregular surface.

My earliest memory is of my mum painting my nails... I didn't stand a chance.

I have one memory that I'm debating whether or not it's actually a memory as opposed to one I've put together myself via the information I've been given (being picked up off the ground by a kite - I was 2 or so), and one that I'm pretty sure is a memory because no one was there but me (putting a pair of tweezers into an outlet, probably thinking something along the lines of "this will fit" - I was... 3ish?).

After some hardcore thinking the earliest thing I can remember is that when I was young we had a dog named Max and he was a schipperke and we had this area in the apartment we lived in where the carpet would change into linoleum right before the door. and my dad would throw a ball down the hallway towards this area and once max hit the linoleum he would spin out and run into the door, only to bring the ball back and do it again. I remember watching this happen for a while before I got bored and crawled away.

For the bonus points, I'm listening to Apparitions Sylosis

I don't know what age I was but I remember a snap shot of me in one of those "closed" baby carraiges. You know it has a hole in the front and the rest is sealed around to give shade or warmth? I remember seeing out that hole and I saw a disney world ride, I can't remember which one, its either the metro train, or the giant dome thing at epcot. (The memory is in a car)

Standing up in my crib.

Climbing out.

Walking downstairs.

And pressing the power button on the television remote.

Like a boss.
How come that goes so well with the avatar?

my second earliest memory is either me destroying a Risk game or trying to eat a rocketship cake (IT WAS HUGE!!!!)

Now I'm not sure whether or not this was real or not, but I do have this one memory where I was in a hospital. I don't think I was even a year old. I think it might have been me being born, but logically speaking, that's probably impossible.

I can triangulate the aproximate time of my earliest because of the house. We've no photos of it, but my first memory is still a very hazy snippet of me, around the age of 1 or 2, awkwardly waddling in from the front door.
There's a door on the left, I don't know what's in there. Another door a bit farther on the right. There's a... shit, I think it's red... box of toys near the right doorway. Some are strewn around. There's two of those plastic hooks you hang from the bottom grill of your drying cabinet and hang things like oven mittens and suchlike onto. Probably impromptu chewing toys.

I remember when I was four going to my cousin's grandparents tree farm out in Orangeville.
note that my dad use to work for JTI Macdonald in their IT department. when he left the company, they had this huge blow up advertisement for Export A cigarettes which kind of looked like this minus the light

My dad would set it up and my cousins and I then we would jump on it. that thing was amazing. I also found that lady really creepy so I alwyas jumped on her face.
and then we were done with out fun, we would sit in the middle and just sink in until all you could see above was the sky.
that is also one of my favourite childhood moments.
and music wise I am listening to boards of Canada.

My earliest memory is that me, my family and some friends were having a picnik by a river in which we later swam in. (I was about 3)

Bonus: Listening to Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow

My earliest memory was hiding under the kitchen table during a thunderstorm, clutching my teddy bear. I was about three.
I used to consider this all the time when my own kid was three - when I would do or say something not nice and immediately think "Shit! I hope that won't be his first memory!".
