Just wondering who here is a fan of the game. My family and I were on a road trip today so I got to use my Advance SP for the first time in a long while and beat it again. Lots of good road trip memories with the game.

Oh right, discussion. Your favorite stage?

I love for Pete's Sake. The music, the battle to protect yourself and keep an eye on that damn dog so he doesn't kill you.

Good times.

For Pete's Sake was also the one where you lose the suit correct?

If so, then yes, that one :3

Hey! Its an Earthworm Jim thread! Wow. I thought I imagined that wonderful game.

Seriously, though, you can buy the EWJ games on Steam.

And For Pete's Sake is the one where you follow a little dog through a meteor shower.

Nah, that was "What the Heck" I think. The one with Evil the Cat?

Earthworm Jim. The memories...
I actually found the disc the other day, but I'm uncertain if it will work...

Also. The "for pete's sake" level was a pain. I could never finish that level because of the difficulty (or maybe I'm just bad).

I don't really have a favorite level, but I remember my favorite moment: The dreaded battle with Bob the Killer Goldfish in Earthworm Jim 2.

Earthworm Jim. He's such a groovy guy.

I played them when I was younger. Never got the hang of it. Loved the Heck level, just for "Night On Bare Mountain". Also, the bungee battle. That was... an experience.

Earthworm Jim was awesome. It is too bad it went downhill towards the end and then died off completely. I used to watch the cartoon show also. It was equally awesome.

Puppy Love defiantly my favourite stage and is probably one of the most hilarious ideas to ever be put in a video game.
Such an awesome game with great humour.
It's too bad that most of that humour went with the 90's it seems.

I liked the style very much, however that style is completely inconsistent with the actual game mechanics, making it a very fuzzy platformer and to me incredibly irritating to play.

But I completely love Jazz Jackrabbit 1 & 2, very similar style but alot more precision in gameplay.

Oh yeah, I bought Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 off Good Old Games a while back on a nostalgia kick; now I actually need to get round to playing them rather than simply staring at the desktop icons in bliss.

Oh, and favourite level? Probably Level 5 although it was a real ***** in parts; Snot A Problem ranks pretty high for pure novelty value, though.

You played the game and never watched the show?!?! It was a staple of by childhood, along with Angry Beavers.

The game? I actually picked up a copy for my SNES a couple months back, haven't got round to playing much yet but it's damn funky!

Puppy Love in the sequel, once again involving Peter Puppy's Jekyll and Hyde routine and good enough that two repetitions didn't make it annoying. Unlike say, Andy Asteroids. The music was perfect. I also liked the quiz show and Level Ate.

I have fond memories of the show too, particularly when 'Evil Jim' creates alignment-inverted doppelgangers of the rest of the cast:

Ah, I loved trying to rescue Princess "What's-Her-Name" by going to random places with no relevancy blasting everything to pieces.
And the cartoon was bloody amusing for however couples episodes I've seen,

Oh my god, when the hell did THAT happen?! I loved that show. Must check ebay!

Also, does the show still hold up? I haven't watched it since it was on TV (and I haven't really had any luck looking online for episodes, I think the copyright holders have been anal about internet piracy).
