Not only does it still hold up, it's better than half the crap that's called "entertainment" these days. It's also animated! There's been less animated series coming out recently, which saddens me.

I first played Earthworm Jim on the Game Boy Advance. I remember it being kinda hard so I was never able to beat it.

The tv show was pretty funny from what I've seen.

Ok that's the opening lines of the cartoon and has little relevance to the games, but how often do I ever get to use the knowledge of knowing the opening lines to the cartoon.

As for the games I only have distant memories of them, its been a while. The levels with the dog were always funny. Also the opening level of the second game comes to mine as I played it so much. But when its comes to Earthworm Jim I think of the show not so much the games.

I remember one episode where the studio "ran out of money" midway through the episode and so everything became hand-drawn with no color. Jim had to mail them a check to get his color back. I wonder if they really were loosing their funding at that point.
