I'm a BF3 player, and let me tell you; it wouldn't be the right kind of madness. Sure, you wouldn't have to worry about practicing, because you wouldn't get the chance for it, you wouldn't get the chance to do anything. 128 Players would mean levels with rows and rows of (baseraping) snipers that'll kill you right after you spawn, queues in front of vehicles which won't survive for longer than 10 seconds thanks to rockets and mines everywhere, that sort of stuff.TestECull said:I actually would. Pure madness like that is about the only way I can have fun in a multiplayer shooter that isn't coop. When I play TF2 I look for servers with at least 25 players on, and I have the most fun when there's queues to get in. It means I don't have to worry about practicing or taking the game seriously to have fun.
Basically, the game would be unplayable, and that's not madness, that's being broken.
Not to mention that there's already room for the good kind of madness. The levels of the Back to Karkand pack for example, good heavens they're crazy. And not to mention that you can do stuff like this:
I fucking love C4.
