I've heard rumours that we may not see a sequel for this amazing game because of poor sales.

This is entirely understandable as the stellar FNV was out on the same day.

If you are like me and like to have a 1 player game and a game that I can play against people sitting beside you then EA MMA is exactly what you want.

The engine is a mod of the fantastic boxing engine from Fight Night 3&4 and the understanding of the pace and power of MMA battles is very encouraging, especially since this is EA's first attempt.

The career mode is awesome and anybody worried about missing out on their fav. UFC fighters need not worry due to the fighter share feature and the wonderful internet community.

Last night me and my friend were fighting Shogun Rua against Jean Claude Van Damme!!!!

(I wish I had some extra hands, so I could give this game 4 thumbs up)

GamesTM gave it a 9/10, saying it was one the best 3D fighters made in recent years. I wouldn't mind it, but there are so many better sounding games like Black Ops, Blazblue, New Vegas...

(Just to clarify, 3D fighters as in 360 movement)

Sorry but I played the demo and it was god awful.

I used to fight Ali against Manny Pacquiao on one of the fight nights, on a high diffuculty setting and win, so I am used to the controls but for an MMA game it's useless.

I couldn't do a damn thing and just got frustrated by throwing the most useless attacks and getting beaten after half of a round.

Give me UFC '09 any day of the week.

THQ is associated with the UFC, which makes them more evil than ActiVision.

The problem is this; they have many big name fighters from around the world but not all of them are very well known to the average fan. In the US, the UFC really is the creme de la creme so any game without the UFC involved in it is going to have a much harder time selling.

Is the UFC guilty of something I don't know about?
The Fertitas are, and they're the ones who own Zuffa/UFC. Organised crime, workplace abuse... the usual. It's not like they're any worse than FEG or Don King, but still, the bigger they are, the worse they are, and Bellator, Strikeforce and the like are just small fry.

Personally I'm having a blast with the game, i was a huge fan of ufc09 and ufc10 was extremely disappointing to me but this totally made up for it, i love how much the game draws you in and it does feel a lot better to win in this one then in ufc10 or even 09, its nice to have some choices as to what league you want to enter although the one thing that did bug me is that you cant pick fighters.

overall a 8.5/10

Personally, I loved it way more than UFC 09 or 10. I don't see why you wouldn't care how good it is just because it is EA, seems stupid.

Karim Saad: Back in your box.

Omega 616: Fair enough, every1's entitled to their own op, I just thought UFC 09 was useless.

Migo: THQ is associated with making years worth of crap wrestling games, that's what you should be worried about.

Treeinthewoods: If you have the online pass you can download versions of most of the popular UFC fighters, so no real problems their except advertising.

666sol777: Deffo agree with that, it would be nce to be able to choose who to fight. Hopefully they sell enough copies so these things can be improved upon.

I found it to be a button/stick masher from the demo.. is it any different from that? I damn near about broke my controller playing the demo.
