so i was playing halo reach and found something extremely interesting

In reach when Cortana and that guy are talking they talk about if anyone survived
i think it went along the lines of
"so do you think anyone survived" where cortana replied "i think we both know the answer to that"
i actually ended up buying Halo: combat evolved just because of this.. the very first line in the game?
"so do you think anyone survived?"

i was in such amazement that Reach ended EXACTLY where combat evolved started.

so im kinda curious if anyone has every found any easter eggs or secrets that amazed them as much as this amazed me

There's a very overt Akira reference in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

Also, it's possible to find Indiana Jones crushed under a rockslide in a cavern in Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Take out the asterisks.

OT: If you look closely at the windows in the castle garden where you meet Zelda in Ocarina of Time, you can see a picture of Mario, Peach, and Yoshi!

In Half Life 2 Episode 2, there is a room hidden behind a pipe that pays homage to the TV show Lost.
It;s located in the passage room between Silo 1 and Silo 2 access, where Uriah the vortigaunt is.

I get my easter eggs from Eeggs.com

But there was this one easter egg that I didn't find on that site. In the game Batman: Arkham Asylum, there's a secret room that gives a hint to the sequel Arkham City and contains concept art and a large blueprint. You can't find it anywhere on the Map.

In Tofu Mode of Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, when you get to the chained fence area and look to the right, you'll see 'Blood on the Dancefloor' written in blood on the wall.

Left 4 Dead 2, guess what band name is written in one of the safehouses? Yup. Blood on the Dancefloor.
