Ahh not sure I'd call that an Easter Egg or not but earlier on there are panels that are partly exposed from walls you can stick a portal behind to enter (since you can't just walk into most of them.) and read the writing on the walls.
Oh the Commentary is really interesting on Portal as well almost all the way threw.

Somewhere in one of the offices at Aperture is a sheet of paper that tells about the Portal testing on chickens. I don't remember exactly where, all I remember is that it was in one of the offices that you can get to after the whole fire pit thing.
