Recently I completely fail at hitting anything at all or more than one person with the air raid on BF 1943.

I guess the getting addicted part of WoW I also failed at (harrharr).

While I don't know if it is hard I found a mission (the cops and the drugs with Nico) in TLAD impossible, getting rid of 5 (or 4?) stars was harder than I thought. (given a lot of luck was involved).

Purple coins in Mario Galaxy (on the level with the falling floor tiles) took me at least 40 tries.

Oh and the Water temple in OOT (even with a guide D;).

In the first hour of GTAIV.

In the mission where you have to pick up the guy who has stolen parts, and the cops chase you down.

I broke Romans car about 1 second after I got out of the cop circle, and so I failed and had to start it again.

That is about the time I gave up and decided I'll play it again tomorrow.

The beginning of MGS4. I was running around raging in that little area before I realised you had to crawl out.

I tried playing the first Elder Scrolls 'Arena'. I was in a jail cell, and some friendly dream person had put the key to the door in your cell. I spent about 2 minutes trying to pick it up. I then open the door, when a guard comes out of nowhere and kills me in two shots before I even realise what was happening. I went back to Oblivion after that...

I also tried playing the First Fallout, I learned the combat system and everything, and decided to go into Junktown, and go shopping! The shopkeep had nothing so I go to leave, when another guy goes up to the shopkeep and says 'Gizmo sends his regards' (Gizmo being the crime lord) and shoots the shopkeep. However, even though im already outside, he accidentally hits me! Then the shop guards start shoting me! And then when I went to shoot them.... it wouldn't let me! I did have ammo, i checked. But I eventually realised that i had to drag that ammo onto the gun to reoad it....and by then i was dead...

In Oblivion, I spent 4 hours in a looking for one person in a town for a delivery quest when I realized the quest description told me right where it was.

I had to make an account just to post this.

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I spent well over an hour trying to figure out how to blow out the candles. I clicked everything, I spun around with the sword, I threw everything... it wasn't until a I found a walk-through guide that spelled it out for me to literally blow in the mic.

I can offer no explanation for this, but for some reason a couple of years ago when I played it, almost none of my friends could finish the tutorial in Runescape. I just couldn't understand what the hell they were having trouble with! It had a minimap and a big floating arrow! All you had to do was follow the path and click on people! Eventually they gave up and never played it.

My buddy drove Niko and Roman straight off the pier into the sea as soon as Niko arrived in Liberty City...

I had huge problems with the stealth part in Zelda: Wind Waker, on the first fucking level.

A part of Roscoe Street Station (or a level just after it) has you messing about in tunnels. It was so dark I couldn't hardly see my own character, let alone anything else. I kept dying to enemies I couldn't find. Also, there's no way to adjust the brightness of the game in the options, so if you don't wanna mess up your TV settings, you best learn to find things the way blind people do.
Which version of the game is that? I'm gonna go check, but I'm almost certain my Xbox version doesn't have the option.

If it does, well... Guess I'll blame the unintuitive menus. Or rag about how the default controller configuration in Max Payne is lame, and how I basically had to rebuild the controls from the config menu from the ground up before I could get a passable setup.

Also... I got stuck in some of the dream sequences in MP2. I wasn't sure which object to interact with. One time I was supposed to answer a ringing phone (in the game), but I had turned my volume down at the request of my family. I was stuck for a while... It really was a tiny phone.

The first time I played Final Fantasy 7, I beat the first boss and then took my sweet time going through the menus and stuff. The thing is, the timer still goes when you are in your menus. So, I had to start again (I didn't save...what a dumbass, eh?).

Stupid time limits.

Pretty much anything in any 2D game. I was raised on 3D games, so naturally I have a hard time with retro games. Hell, I even struggled with Kirby's Adventure. I never got a game over, but I died quite a few times.

Choosing Charmander and beating Brock. Mother. Fucking. *****. I was about 11 at the time, and the concept of super effective had no meaning to me. I repeatedly tried to burn Onix using ember, and was confused everytime to why it was "not very effective".

The internet was still in its fledgling years at the time, and it took me another week of trying to beat the first leader until my friend says "Dude just get a Mankey or Butterfree and train it a little." Took me 10 minutes after that to beat Brock. I was fucking pissed.
